The Northern WV Rural Health Education Center (NWVRHEC) is pleased to announce the upcoming series of workshops titled, “Is it Flu or Is it HIV” scheduled in various locations throughout the NWVRHEC region. Up to 4 Continuing Education credits are available for CME, DO, Addiction and Prevention, Counseling, CHES, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Social Work. Each workshop will be from 10:00 am until 3:15 pm and is hosted by the NWVRHEC and is presented in partnership with the Pennsylvania/Mid Atlantic AIDS Education & Training Center (PA/MAAETC). The featured speakers are from the WV Local Performance of the PA/MAAETC and include Jeannette Southerly, RN ACRN and Carolyn Kidd, RN, BSN. “Is it Flu or Is it HIV” dates and locations are as follows: · Flatwoods: Days Inn -- April 11, 2007 · Weirton: Weirton Medical Center -- April 18, 2007 · Parkersburg: WVU-Parkersburg Corporate and Community Education Bldg -- May 2, 2007 · Bridgeport: Bridgeport Conference Center/Wingate Inn -- May 9, 2007 · Elkins: Davis & Elkins Conference Center – May 23, 2007 There is a $20.00 fee to attend and lunch is provided.
