SELECTED RESEARCH, PUBLICATIONS, AND/OR SUCCESSFUL GRANTS:           

Dr. Taylor has conducted several research studies over the past five years dealing with a variety of topics, including the sexual behaviors and knowledge of adjudicated adolescents in rural areas, the sexual behaviors and knowledge of adjudicated adult males in rural areas, and a study of the childhood/adolescent experiences of adjudicated males in rural areas.  In addition, he has applied for and received "Life Skills Training Grant" from the West Virginia Office of Healthy Schools for $2483.25.

Dr. Taylor has served on a variety of state, college-wide, and divisional committees.  In addition, he has conducted several local and state-wide workshops regarding special education, human sexuality, and mental health issues.  Finally, he has attended numerous state and local conferences dealing with special education, sex education and human sexuality, educational issues, and mental health issues.
