Glenville
State College is a small college located in the
mountains of Central West Virginia. Surrounded by
the natural beauty of Wild, Wonderful West Virginia
as well as a caring rural community, our students
have access to an abundance of unique outdoor and
cultural opportunities.
Originally founded in 1872 to serve the higher
educational needs of Central West Virginia, GSC has
gained widespread recognition for excellence in
teaching and strong academic integrity.
