Education and Military Training

Sergeant First Class Dan Webb is a native of West Virginia. He is a 1993 graduate from Fairmont State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. SFC Webb also holds a Master's of Business Administration from Salem International University. His military education consists of the U.S. Army Ranger, Airborne, Jumpmaster, Pathfinder, and Air-Assault schools, along with Special Operations Basic Sniper, Instructor Training, Advanced Non-Commissioned Officer, Basic Non-Commissioned Officer and Primary Leadership Development Courses.

Military Career Path

SFC Webb joined the U.S. Army in 1985; his first duty assignment was with the 3rd Battalion 75th Infantry, Ranger Regiment. Later active duty assignments include: U.S. Army Airborne School (Instructor), 101st ABN, Pathfinder Detachment (Pathfinder Assistant Team Leader), and 187th Infantry Regiment, 101st ABN (Scout Team Leader). SFC Webb deployed to Afghanistan from 2008-2009 with the 2nd Battalion 19th Special Forces Group. He is currently an active duty member of the West Virginia Army National Guard detailed to instruct at the Glenville State College Army ROTC program.
