Each summer, Glenville State College hosts camps for the area Hidden Promise Scholars in the 8th through 12th grades. The agenda varies but will include activities such as aquatic and aerospace exploration, crime scene investigation, swimming, boxing, etiquette, career exploration, ACT and general testing skills, completing a college application, and multiculturalism.

The tentative Hidden Promise Consortium Summer Camp schedule is shown below; please remember this is a TENTATIVE schedule for 2013 and subject to change.

8th Grade Camp (Incoming 9th Graders)

2 days, 1 night
June 17th & 18th; stay overnight on June 17th
If first camp participants number more than 75:
June 20th & 21st; stay overnight on June 20th

9th Grade Camp (Incoming 10th Graders)

2 days, 1 night

10th Grade Camp (Incoming 11th Graders)

4 days, 3 nights
July 8th – 11th; stay overnight July 8th, 9th, and 10th

11th Grade Camp (Incoming 12th Graders)

4 days, 3 nights
July 15th – 18th; stay overnight July 15th, 16th, and 17th

12th Grade Camp (Incoming College Freshman)

8 days, 6 nights
July 22nd – 25th & July 29th – August 1st
Stay overnight July 22nd – 24th and July 29th – 31st
