Curriculum Vitae

Larry Baker joined Glenville State College in 2001 as the Associate Vice President for Technology. He joined the faculty ranks in 2004 while still holding the AVP for technology instructing Physical Science, Mathematics, and Computer Science courses as needed. In 2007 he joined the faculty ranks full time and instructs the same courses. He joined Glenville State College from the WV K-12 school system as a county technologist and lead teacher for engineering and technology in Kanawha County Schools. He holds WV Permanent Professional Teaching Certificates in Mathematics, General Science and Physics. He also holds the certificate specified in WV code 18A-2-12 for evaluation of professional personnel in the public school system for the state of West Virginia. Larry Baker is a strong supporter and a 15 year faculty advisor for the Student Government Association. He is also a 1988 Alumni of Glenville State College.
