Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Gherke joined the Glenville State faculty in 2002 from Shippensburg University where he was temporary Assistant Professor of History. He teaches Early American History, World History, West Virginia History, Islam and the West, and occasionally Social Studies 7-Adult Methods. He continues research interest in colonial Dutch New Netherland/New York and early West(ern) Virginia history.
