Peer Tutoring

Peer tutoring provides support to students in a variety of disciplines.

The tutoring program is designed to help students achieve academic success by providing qualified peer tutors to students who request assistance in their course work. Any student is eligible to receive this free service.

Tutors are available to meet one on one or in a group setting. Appointments can be made directly with the desired tutor.

History Tutoring is by appointment only. Drop by Louis Bennett Hall, Suite 300 to make an appointment.
Math Tutoring is located in the Science Hall, Suite 209 for walk-ins or to schedule an appointment.
Writing Tutoring is located in the Administration Building, Suite 300 for walk-ins or to schedule an appointment.
Biology Tutoring is limited to Mondays from 1:00pm to 4:00pm in Science Hall, Suite 303.

Want to be a tutor?

Tutors are generally students who have performed well in the subject for which they wish to tutor. Students interested in becoming tutors may inquire at the Academic Support Center. A recommendation from one faculty in their specific field is required.
