Located at the Academic Support Center on the first floor of Louis Bennett Hall, the Tutoring Center provides support to students in a variety of disciplines.

Peer Tutoring

The Tutoring Center provides peer tutors for a wide variety of classes in every field. Support is available individually or in a group setting.

The tutoring program is designed to help students achieve academic success by providing qualified peer tutors to students who request assistance in their course work. Any student is eligible to receive this free service.

Developmental Faculty

The Academic Support Center also houses five developmental faculty: four mathematics and one English. These individuals are also available to assist students in need during their office hours.

Want to be a tutor?

Tutors are generally students who have performed well in the subject for which they wish to tutor. Students interested in becoming tutors may inquire at the Academic Support Center. A recommendation from one faculty in their specific field is required.
