Where is your home town?
I was born in Randolph County, Wv and was raised in a small country town called Montrose. The total population of Montrose is quite a bit lower than the population of Glenville! Don't believe me? Research it and you'll see!
What are your hobbies?
I’m just a good ol' country boy who loves hunting, fishing, and trapping. I started hunting and fishing with my Dad when I was four years old. I love being in the outdoors, especially in the fall and spring. My two favorite hobbies are bow hunting and turkey hunting. You'll quickly learn I'm a die-hard turkey hunter and there's nothing else I'd rather do in the spring! I'm 75% complete on completing my Grand Slam of turkey hunting. I just have my Merriam's left.
What did you study in college?
I attended Glenville State College and graduated with two Bachelor of Science degrees and two minors. I majored in Natural Resource Management with concentrations in Landman Technology and Business Management.
What is your favorite food?
Well anyone who knows me will tell you I just like food in general and like to eat, but I'm a meat and taters kind of guy! I like to eat what I kill, so of course I love fried deer back straps and wild turkey breast.
What is your favorite thing about GSC?
My favorite thing about GSC and the Glenville community is the friendly and caring down to Earth people. I like the fact that everyone talks to everyone here and cares about them as a person. Everyone is truly family on this campus. From the moment I began here as a student in the fall of 2007 to working here today as a GSC employee. I've always felt this is my home away from home.
