More Information | Costs & Equipment | High Adventure Excursions | Photo Gallery

The High Adventure program will take you to new heights - literally. Take in the beauty of West Virginia from the back of a horse, from atop a mountain peak, or from the door of a plane before you take the plunge and skydive. The High Adventure program can give you a taste of the real adventure of our rural state, and plans excursions throughout the academic year.

Trips with High Adventure vary in cost, depending on the activity and the length of the trip. You can pay one fee for the semester, which guarantees you a spot on at least eight excursions over the course if one semester, or you can pay per adventure. All equipment is either provided at no cost by High Adventure, or rented on a per trip basis.
Either way, we make it easy!

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide GSC students and the greater GSC community with quality outdoor experiences that ultimately promote personal enrichment and community enhancement. Through well-organized outdoor adventures, participants will have the opportunity to develop life-long recreational and leadership skills, enhance their abilities to work with others, and gain an appreciation for the natural environments in which we live. Participants of all skill levels are welcome and encouraged to take part
