TOEFL Exam:
All International students must submit official TOEFL test scores. Exceptions may be considered on a case by case basis, however anyone deemed exempt must submit official ACT or SAT scores in place of the TOEFL. TOEFL scores of 550 (paper test) or higher qualify the applicant for automatic admission to any of our four year degree programs with no ESL course requirements. TOEFL scores below 550 will qualify the applicant for admission to GSC with mandatory ESL requirements to be fulfilled during the student’s time at Glenville State College.

Transcripts:
In order to be eligible for Admission to GSC you must submit official transcripts that reflect the final grades you receive upon completion of high school and official transcripts from any and all colleges you have attended. If you are applying to Glenville State College before you actually graduate from high school or the college from which you are transferring, you can submit an unofficial or incomplete transcript at the time you apply. However, you will need to submit a final official transcript before you can become fully admitted to GSC.

Financial Verification:
You need to submit a completed financial verification form along with an official bank statement. This bank statement can be your own, or that of the person who is financially sponsoring your education.

Additional information regarding this scholarship is provided upon receipt of your completed application and all required admissions materials.

Immunizations:
You must submit official documentation (in English) from a doctor proving that you have obtained Measles, Mumps & Rubella immunizations.

Official Documentation:
All documents required and submitted for International Admission to Glenville State College must be official. Documents will only be deemed official, and therefore accepted, if they are printed on letterhead and maintain official appearance and original signatures, stamps and seals. Original documents are preferred, but a certified copy (certified by a Notary or other recognized official with an official seal) will be accepted. Test Scores will only be deemed official if they come to Glenville State College directly from the testing center or organization. Non-certified photocopies and faxes will not be accepted. All documents are subject to verification.

Other:
Admissions requirements and verification processes are subject to change and can vary by country. All International applicants are subject to the submitting of official regional or national test results on a case by case basis and as deemed necessary by the Glenville State College Office of Admissions. Current and location-specific requirements will be presented to each applicant on an individual basis.

Students applying from Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and The Gambia must also submit official results from the West African Exam Council or the National Exam Council in addition to all other required admissions materials.
