December 2017 Graduation Information

In an effort to make Commencement a more momentous and student-focused event for our graduates and their families, the College will hold two ceremonies on Saturday, December 9, 2017 in the Fine Arts Center Auditorium to ensure accommodations for all of the anticipated guests. You may invite as many guests as you like.

The two ceremonies will begin at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and graduates should have already received a letter with the notification of which ceremony to attend (click here to view a list of ceremony assignments). Note that robing and line up for graduates will take place in Fine Arts Center, Room 105 (Recital Hall); graduates are asked to please arrive by 10:00 a.m. for the morning ceremony and by 1:00 p.m. for the afternoon ceremony. A reception for everyone in attendance will be held in the Fine Arts Center lobby directly following the ceremony.

The morning ceremony includes graduates from the areas of Biology, Biology Education, Chemistry, Chemistry Education, Elementary Education, General Science Education, Health and Human Performance, Mathematics Education, and Natural Resource Management.

Students receiving academic honors will be presented with their honor cords at a reception scheduled to take place on Thursday, December 7 at 4:00 p.m. in the Mollohan Campus Community Center Ballroom.
