Jump Camp has been canceled due to lack of interest.
The GSC SIFE team has pledged to collect 5,000 pounds of non-perishable food items by mid-April that will be donated to local food pantries to help families in Gilmer County and the surrounding areas.
Free income tax return assistance is once again available on the Glenville State College campus through the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Tuesday April 12th will be the final day this free service will be available.
When the Class of 2011 at Glenville State College walks across the stage on May 14th to receive their diplomas, the caps and gowns they will be wearing will be black in color, but they will also be green.
Final plans for this year’s Glenville State College Alumni Day on April 16, 2011 have been made. All alumni and friends of the College are invited back to campus for this event.

The Glenville State College Fine Arts Department is hosting the annual piano recital of Anita White. This concert will be held April 18th at 7:00 p.m. in the GSC Fine Arts Center Auditorium.
Courtney Clevenger, a Lewis County native and junior music education major at Glenville State College, has been chosen as one of eight female college students in the nation for the 2010 Women’s Band Directors International Scholarships.
Twenty-one seniors are currently completing their student teaching internships for Glenville State College.
