Pioneer Football to Host Alumni Golf Outing

Glenville, WV– Former Glenville State College Head Football Coaches Bill Hanlin (’65-’74) and ‘Whitey’ Adolfson (’75-’79) will be the guests of honor at the 2012 Alumni Golf Outing presented by the Pioneer Football program. The event will take place on Friday, May 18, 2012 at the Glenville Golf Club on Mineral Road in Glenville to benefit the GSC football program.

“We are excited to honor two former legendary Glenville State College Football Coaches and their era. Coach Bill Hanlin and Coach Whitey Adolfson are two great coaches who stand for everything right in the game of football. They have both been great role models who stand for high character and integrity. Please come back to Glenville and join us for this great day filled with fun, food and lots of stories,” said Pioneer Head Coach David Hutchison.

All Glenville State College alumni, fans, and friends are cordially invited to participate in a great day of fun and camaraderie. The entry fee for this scramble format tournament is just $75 per player and includes a continental breakfast, lunch, and social reception. Those interested may also choose to attend the social reception only at 7:00 p.m. for $25. Anyone interested in playing is encouraged to sign up as soon as possible as a full field is expected for the tournament.
