Glenville, WV—Glenville State College officials have announced that all of the Pioneer’s 2012 football games will be broadcast live on radio station WAFD 100.3 FM. This is the sixth year in a row that coverage of the Pioneers has aired on the station.
Long time ‘Voice of the Pioneers’ Bob Edwards will be handling the play-by-play. Edwards enters his 21st season calling GSC games. In addition to the live radio broadcasts, all Pioneer games will also be available live on the internet. A link to the webcast can be found at www.glenville.edu.
All broadcasts will begin thirty minutes before the scheduled kick off with the Pioneer Pre-game Show including a discussion with Pioneer Head Coach Dave Hutchison.
The Pioneers open the season on Thursday evening, August 30th at 7 p.m. at Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee. A complete season schedule can also be found on the above internet address.
WAFD will also be broadcast GSC women’s and men’s basketball games this winter.
