Glenville, WV – Members of the Glenville State College Science Fiction and Fantasy Guild are hosting a series of monster movies that will be shown during the Fall and Spring semesters. The series will feature movies from all eras highlighting the progression of storyline, special effects, computer animation, and director ability.

“An open discussion will follow the movies to answer questions and educate the viewers about movies they may have never thought to watch before. All are welcome to attend,” said GSC Science Fiction and Fantasy Guild President Cody Sheldon.

The films are free to the public and will be shown on Sundays in the GSC Robert F. Kidd Library Room 16 at 7:00 p.m. Those who attend may bring their own snacks, and there will also be door prizes awarded.

The following is the film schedule for the rest of the 2012 Fall semester: Brazil on September 16th, Brotherhood of the Wolf on September 23rd, The Devil’s Backbone on September 30th, Pan’s Labyrinth on October 7th, The Orphanage on October 21st, Night of the Living Dead on October 28th, The Fly on November 4th, and The Last Man on Earth on November 11th.

Some films may not be suitable for viewers under the age of 17. For more information, contact GSC Science Fiction and Fantasy Guild Co-Advisor Melissa Gish at Melissa.Gish@glenville.edu (304) 462-6325.
