Lady Pioneers Play Duel Match against the University of Charleston

Cami Roberts shot a 89 in the Lady Pioneers duel match against the University of Charleston

Tornado, WV - The Glenville State Lady Pioneers golf team played a duel match with the University of Charleston at Big Bend Golf Course on a rainy Monday afternoon.

The Lady Pioneers finished the day with a team score of 374, lowest score in school history, but it wasn’t enough to knock off the Golden Eagles as they finished the round with a 327.

GSC was paced by WVIAC All Conference golfer Sammi Moore as she shot an 82. Alex Fitzwater and freshman Cami Roberts both finished with an 89.

Morgan Talbott shot a 114 and Jamie Schindel finished with a 116.

“I thought that the ladies played really well today,” said Head Coach Jonathan Griffin. “I am very excited about the future and I am looking forward to the Northern Regional,” stated Coach Griffin.

The Lady Pioneers return to action September 30^th and October 1^st as they travel to Moundsville, WV for the WVIAC Northern Regional.
