Glenville, WV – Glenville State College will soon be offering more evening classes at Braxton County High School (BCHS) October 15th through December 14th.
The eight-week courses include: Principles of Accounting II on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 to 6:50 p.m., Principles of Microeconomics on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00 to 6:50 p.m., Principles of Marketing on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00 to 9:50 p.m., and Developmental Math on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m.
“GSC is in its second year returning to BCHS for evening classes. We already have several students who have accumulated close to a year’s worth of college credits. These classes are convenient being centrally located and are affordable thanks to the Lorena Hefner and Hunter Singleton Braxton County scholarships. We hope many Braxton County residents will join this program,” said GSC Coordinator of Off-Campus Programming Kathy Gilbert.
There will be a ‘GSC Off-Campus Classes Open House’ at BCHS on Tuesday, October 9th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Prospective students can ask questions, register for classes, and take the Accuplacer test for Developmental Math.
GSC scholarships are available for qualifying adults to cover the cost of tuition and fees for these off-campus courses. Students are responsible for textbook costs.
Necessary prerequisites for Developmental Math and Principles of Accounting II must be met at the time of registration. For more information or to register, contact firstname.lastname@example.org or (304) 462-6069.
