Lady Pioneers Golf Places Eighth at WVIAC Championship

Freshman Cami Roberts fished the round with a total of 194, which was good enough to finish in 35th

Canaan Valley, WV – The Glenville State Lady Pioneers golf team finished in eighth place at the 2012 WVIAC Conference Championship.

The team finished day one with a 407, and on day two shot a 397 for a total score of 804.

Junior Sammi Moore led GSC as she came in 17th overall with a score of 168.

GSC freshman Cami Roberts fished the round with a total of 194, which was good enough to finish in 35th.

Alex Fitzwater finished with a 211, and finished in 38th place.

Also for the Lady Pioneers Morgan Talbott finished tied for 39th with a score of 231 and Jamie Schindel came in 41st with a score of 237.

With the WVIAC Conference Championship over the Lady Pioneers will now look to work all winter to get better and prepare for the spring season.
