Glenville, WV – Tiffani Huffman came off the bench and scored 17 first half points as the Lady Pioneers rolled over the Seton Hill Griffins, 109-79.
The Lady Pioneers got out to a quick start and never looked back as they would build a 31 points halftime lead, 60-29.
In the second half it was the same story as GSC continued their dominate play. The closest that Seton Hill would get in the second half would be 25 points, 100-75, that coming at the 4:08 minute mark.
GSC would go on to claim a 30 point victory, 109-79.
The Lady Pioneers defense would cause 18 turnovers while they only committed nine in the game.
GSC would convert those turnovers into 23 points.
The Lady Pioneers also outscored the Griffins in the paint 34 to 28.
Kenyona Simmons scored a game high 23 points and grabbed six rebounds. Ashleigh Fossett finished the game with 18 points.
Tiffani Huffman had a great game as she scored 17 points, all coming in the first half. Huffman also finished with five assists.
Kenyell Goodson scored 15 points while LaToya Hambrick chipped in with 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
Jessica Parsons only scored four points in the game but she dished out a game high seven assists and pulled down seven rebounds.
Katie Gattuso scored 17 points while Mallory Scanner scored 14 points for the Griffins.
The No. 17 Lady Pioneers overall record is 21-2 (16-1), they return to the hardwood Monday, February 11th when they travel to West Virginia Wesleyan. Tip-off is set for 5:30 pm.
