Glenville, W.Va. - Former Glenville State standout quarterback Darold Hughes lands coaching job at Becker College in Leicester, Massachusetts.

Hughes will serve as the Graduate Resident Director and Running Backs coach for the Hawks.

Hughes played quarterback for the Pioneers from 2009 to 2012. As a quarterback at GSC Hughes threw for over 4,861 yards, and ranked 6th all-time in GSC history in Career Touchdown Passes with 37.

Last season the Hawks went 3-7 and will look to improve this season.

“I’m very excited to start this new and exciting chapter in my life. Coaching has always been my dream after I was done playing and being able to live that dream out is wonderful. Just want to thank all of the coaches at Glenville for being good role models and especially coach Milo Austin for all of his help along the way. I can’t wait to help young men improve into better sons, brothers, fathers members of society in the community and most importantly better students who stay on the path to graduation,” stated Darold Hughes.

Glenville State Athletic Department would like to congratulate and wish Daorld the best.
