Glenville, W.Va. - The Glenville State College Pioneer football team took time out of their busy schedule to lend a helping hand to Visions Vessels and Victory of Glenville.
Even with the 2013 Football season just around the corner and not to mention the middle of Fall Camp, several players lent helping hands to help clean up on Friday, August 17th.
The Pioneer football team helped move multiple pallets that weighed about a ton, also moved doors, and loads and loads of tile. They also picked up trash and helped move PVC pipe.
“It’s always important to give back to the community of Glenville; they come out and cheer for us every game so it’s important that we show them how much we appreciate them,” stated sophomore tight end Jake Harper.
The Pioneers will have a scrimmage this Saturday, August 24th at Roane County High School in Spencer, West Virginia.
