Bridgeport, W.Va. - Glenville State’s Keyanna Tate has been named the Mountain East Conference Player of the Week after leading the 12th-ranked Pioneers to a 3-0 week.
Tate, a junior forward from Forestville, Md., averaged 16.3 points and 6.7 rebounds in three games for the Pioneers. She netted 11 points against Charleston before scoring a team-high 21 points as GSC handed Urbana its first conference loss of the season. She finished the week with a double-double against Wheeling Jesuit with 17 points and 12 rebounds.
