GSC Braxton and Nicholas Evening Classes Offered Again

GLENVILLE, WV— Several Glenville State College off-campus classes are again being offered. Eight GSC evening classes are being held in Braxton County, while three GSC evening classes are available in Nicholas County during the spring 2014 semester.

GSC courses offered at Braxton County High School are Survey of American Literature I (ENGL 205, Mondays 4:00-6:50 p.m.), U.S. History to 1877 (HIST 205, Mondays 7:00–9:50 p.m.), Developmental Mathematics (MTHF 004,Tuesdays 4:00-7:30 p.m.), Introduction to Business (BUSN 100, Tuesdays 4:00-6:50 p.m.), General Biology & Lab (BIOL 101,Tuesdays 7:00-9:50 p.m. and Thursdays 7:00-9:50 p.m.), Office Software (BUSN 118, Wednesdays 4:00-6:50 p.m.), Lifespan Development (PSYC 250, Wednesdays 7:00-9:50 p.m.), and Elementary Spanish I (SPAN 101, Thursdays 4:00-6:50 p.m.).

GSC courses offered at New River Community & Technical College’s Summersville campus are Diagnostic and Prescriptive Teaching of Reading (READ 414, Mondays 4:00-5:50 p.m.), Euclidean Geometry (Math 230, Tuesdays 4:00-6:50 p.m.), and Early Education Curriculum, Methods and Materials (EDUC 321, Wednesdays 4:00-7:50 p.m.).

“Classes run from Monday, January 13th until Friday, May 2nd.  Even though classes have already begun, new applicants are still being accepted,” said GSC Assistant Coordinator of Off-Campus Programming Kathy Gilbert.
