GLENVILLE, WV—The annual Glenville State College Brass and Woodwind Concert will be held on Friday, Thursday 27th. The show will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the GSC Fine Arts Auditorium.

Groups to be featured include the woodwind ensemble directed by GSC Assistant Professor of Music Education Dr. David Lewis, the trumpet ensemble directed by GSC Professor Emeritus Harry Rich, and the saxophone quartet directed by visiting GSC Assistant Professor of Music Jason Barr.

GSC Assistant Professor of Music and Fine Arts Department Chair Lloyd Bone will be directing the brass, trombone, tuba, and euphonium ensembles.

“The concert always features a very wide array of musical styles. It is a unique concert as it is the only concert of its type that features so many different types of chamber music ensembles,” said Bone.
The concert is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Fine Arts Department Assistant Sheri Skidmore at Sheri.Skidmore@glenville.edu or (304) 462-6340.
