Lady Pioneers Win NCAA DII Women’s Basketball Statistical Champion

Jessica Parsons is the 2013-14 NCAA Division II statistical champion for Assist/Turnover Ratio with a 4.09 ratio

Glenville, W.Va. - The Glenville State Lady Pioneers basketball team racked up several awards and honors this year, they finished the 2013-14 season with a 29-4 record and not only did they win the Mountain East Conference (MEC) Regular Season Championship but they also won the MEC Conference Tournament Championship and now they have won 2013-14 Division II women’s basketball statistical champion for Scoring Offense, Three-Point Field Goals Per Game, Turnover Margin, Fewest Turnovers Per Game and Assist/Turnover Ratio.

Senior point guard Jessica Parsons is the 2013-14 NCAA Division II statistical champion for Assist/Turnover Ratio.

Glenville State led the nation in Scoring Offense as they scored 97.2 points per game. The Lady Pioneers also led the nation in Three-Point Field Goals Per Game as they averaged 11.6 per game.

GSC led the nation in Turnover Margin with 12.48 per game, they also committed the fewest turnovers per game with 11.1 per game which also led the nation, and last they led the nation in Assist/Turnover Ratio with a 1.52 ratio.

Jessica Parsons also led the nation in Assist/Turnover Ratio as she 135 assists this season and only committed 33 turnovers for a 4.09 ratio.
