The Men’s Basketball team lost a close game to Bluefield State on Wednesday night 69-72. The Pioneers were led by Marcus Catney with 18 points. Nick Dent and Gabe Gibbs both chipped in with 13 points, and Ryan Burts had 11 points and 5 steals on the night.
The Pioneers shot well on the night finishing 42.1 percent from the floor as well as from behind the three point line. Bluefield State was led by Rico Thompson; he finished with 25 points on the night.
The Pioneers return to action Saturday when they travel to Gannon tipoff is set for 7:30PM.
