The Glenville State Lady Pioneers Volleyball team came away with another win on the season after they beat WVIAC conference foe Bluefield State College3-0 on Wednesday night.
In game one the Lady Pioneers took a quick lead and never looked back winning it 25-13. They had 11 kills as a team with only 4 errors.
In game two it was much closer with Bluefield battling back but the Lady Pioneers proved to be too much for the Lady Blues as they won game two 25-18.
The final match the Lady Pioneers were determined to close out the Bluefield as the team racked up 10 kills as a team with only 5 errors, as the Lady Pioneers closed out the Lady Blues 25-16.
Jamie Schindel led the Lady Pioneers in kills on the night with 11; senior Erica Hale also had a good showing as she had 31 assists on the night, while fellow senior Chelsea Cooke-Tripp played a great three games as she racked up 8 serve aces.
The Lady Pioneers improve their record to 2-13 and return to action this Friday as they battle Concord University Mountain Lions at home; game time is set for 7:00PM.
