Lady Pioneers Volleyball Beats West Liberty State, 3-0

The Glenville State Lady Pioneers Volleyball team snapped a three match losing streak, with a 30-19,30-18,30-24 victory over visiting Hilltoppers of West Liberty State College.  The Pioneers improved to 14-18 overall and 10-7 in WVIAC play.  The 10 conference wins is a school record for WVIAC wins in a season, and has them currently in 7th place in the conference. 

The Pioneers were led by Camai Roberson’s nine kills with a .500 hitting percentage and two sport standout Karly Eskew’s eight kills.  Setter Erica Hale again was solid chipping in 35 assists and improving on her WVIAC lead in service aces, adding five more. 

The Pioneers take on WVIAC leading Wheeling Jesuit today at 4pm at the Jesse R. Lilly Gymnasium.
