The GSC Lady Pioneers defeated Ohio Valley College in their first round game of the WVIAC Softball Tournament by a score of 5-4.
Brittney Handley led the GSC offense as she went 3 for 4 and scored 2 runs. Kayleigh Huck and Lacey Williams both recorded two RBI’s.
Jessica Fedor pitched six innings as she struck out 3 batters and walked 2 batters. Ally Southall pitched two innings as she struck out 1 batter and walked 1 batter.
Ohio Valley was led by Donna O’Bryant as she went 3 for 2 with 3 RBI’s and scored 1 run.
Raegan Turner pitched seven innings as she struck out 5 batters.
