The Glenville State College Lady Pioneers Golf team competed at the Sandy Brae Golf Club on April 10. It was a one day duel against West Virginia State.
The Lady Pioneers performed well; it was a season best score for the Lady Pioneers. Kathleen Mizener shot an 86 on the day and Olivia Ferrell shot a 99. That is Mizener and Ferrell best scores since they have played at GSC.
Other Lady Pioneer scores are Alex Fitzwater shot a 90, Brandi Phillips shot a 107, and Lacey Williams shot a 102. The final score was GSC 377 and West Virginia State 474.
“The girls are really playing well and a working very hard to improve their skills every day”, stated Head Coach Crystal Davis. The Women’s Golf team will return to action on April 18-19 when they will compete at Wheeling Jesuit’s Tournament.
