Cam Perry Wins Men’s Track & Field Coach of the Year Award

The Glenville State College Track & Field teams traveled to Wheeling Jesuit over the weekend of April 29-30. Not only did both the men’s and women’s team finish in fifth place, Head Coach Cam Perry was honored as the WVIAC Men’s Coach of the Year.

Anyone who knows Coach Perry is aware of  the hard work and dedication he puts into the program. Along with Cam being the Head Men’s & Women’s Track & Field Coach, he is also the Head Men’s & Women’s Cross Country Coach, Head Strength & Conditioning Coach, Compliance Coordinator, and Assistant Athletic Director.
“It’s a real honor for me to receive this award, but my athletes are the ones who deserve it,” stated Coach Perry.
“Cam is a great coach and he puts 110% into anything that he does, we are very proud of him and he is very deserving of the award,” stated Athletic Director Janet Bailey.
The Glenville State College Athletic department would like to congratulate Coach Perry on his award and his outstanding season.
