The Fairmont State University Fighting Falcons ended the Lady Pioneers four game win streak as they defeated the Lady Pioneers by a 85-99 score.
The Lady Pioneers struggled to shoot from behind the three point line as they went 5 for 23 for only 21 percent; conversely, the Fighting Falcons shot 62 percent form behind the three point line.
GSC was led by Danielle Woodmore as she scored 23 points and handed out a team high 4 assists while Tenisha Wilson chipped in with 20 points as well as grabbing a team high 7 rebounds; Kim Stephens scored 10 points.
Fairmont State was led by Tiffany Nicholson with a game high 24 points, while Kaitlin Snyder scored 19 points, and Lauren Gilbert scored 18 points and handed out a game high 6 assists.
The Lady Pioneers return to action Saturday, January 29th when they try to get back on track as they travel to Wheeling to battle Wheeling Jesuit; game time is set for 6:00PM.
