Lady Pioneers Defeat Wheeling Jesuit 118-81

The Lady Pioneers defeated the Wheeling Jesuit Cardinals Saturday night 118-81.

GSC shot 43 percent from inside, and outside the three point line.
The Lady Pioneers had six players score in double figures as Tenisha Wilson lead the way with 20 points and senior Kim Stephens chipped in with 18 points. Freshman Kenyell Goodson scored 15 points.
Also for the Lady Pioneers Mishae Miles scored 14 points, Autumn Davis scored 13 points, and Danielle Woodmore added 10 points and dished out a game high 7 assists.
Kristen Golden led the Lady Pioneers in rebounds with 8, and LaToya Hambrick grabbed 7 caroms. The Lady Pioneers defense forced Wheeling Jesuit into 26 turnovers on the night.
The Cardinals were led by Kourtney Booth with 18 points and 11 rebounds.
The Lady Pioneers will return to action next Saturday, December 18th when they battle West Virginia State beginning at 5:30PM.
