Lady Pioneers Break Even at Millersville

The Lady Pioneers traveled to Millersville, PA on Friday, November 19th and on Saturday, November 20th to take part in the Millersville’s Tournament.

On Friday the Lady Pioneers beat the West Chester University Golden Rams 98-95. The Lady Pioneers only had two players score in double figures. Tenisha Wilson scored a game high 27 points, while senior Autumn Davis chipped in with 23 points.
LaToya  Hambrick grabbed a team high 11 rebounds for the Lady Pioneers, while Danielle Woodmore dished out team high 6 assists.
The Golden Rams were led by Alex Lennon with 21 points.
On Saturday the Lady Pioneers fell to Millersville 79-80. The Lady Pioneers posted four players in double figures with Beth Deren scoring 15 points. Woodmore had a good game as she chipped in with 14 points and dished out a game high 8 assists.
Wilson scored 12 points, while Davis scored 11 points for the Lady Pioneers. Millersville was led by Mashira Newman with 20 points.
The Lady Pioneers fall to 3-2(0-1) on the year. They will take the court again on Tuesday, November 23rd when they travel to Bowie State; tipoff is set for 5:30PM.
