The Glenville State College Lady Pioneer basketball team flew by Salem International University Fighting Tigers by a finial score of 128-63. The Pioneers got off to a quick start with two baskets from junior center Kristen Golden and a shot from senior guard Donita Adams which put the Lady Pioneers up big, 9-0 with 17:06 in the first half.

The Lady Pioneers never trailed in the game or even looked back.
The Lady Pioneers had six players score in double figures with Adams leading the way with 23 points. Beth Deren also had a great game scoring 22 points and grabbing 7 rebounds, Autumn Davis made 6 three pointers on the night to give her a total of 18 points, while Kim Stephens also shot well, she made 5 three pointers on the night for 15 points.
Golden chipped in with 10 points on the evening and freshman guard Ginny Petties had a double double, scoring 13 points, grabbing a game high 15 rebounds, and also dished out 7 assists.
The Lady Pioneers shot 105 field goals making 48 of them for a total of 45 percent, and shot 68 threes and made 25 for 36 percent. The Lady Pioneers out rebounded the Tigers 61-43.
Salem was led by Casey Mitchell with 14 points on the evening.
The Lady Pioneers return to action Saturday against West Virginia Wesleyan College for the finial regular season home game of the 2010 season, as well as Senior Day, tipoff is set for 2:00PM.
