Glenville State College Women’s Basketball Team Runs By Ohio Valley

The Glenville State College Lady Pioneers dismantled the Ohio Valley University Scots by a score of 126-92. The Pioneers had four players score in double figures with Donita Adams leading the way with 28 points and also grabbing a team high 7 rebounds.

Ginny Petties scored 27 points on the night for the Pioneers and also dishing out a team high 6 assist, while Autumn Davis had a great game shooting from behind the three point line, going 6-13, scoring 24 points. And Beth Deren scored 18 points on the night.
The Pioneers shot well on the night shooting 40 percent from the floor, while shooting even better from behind the three point line shooting 41 percent. Also as a team the Pioneers went 24 of 29 from the free throw line which is 82 percent on the night.
The Scots were led by Kendra Benedict, she scored 21 points and grabbing a game high 14 rebounds for a double double on the night. The Pioneers return to action Saturday at home, when Salem International comes into Jesse R. Lilly Gym, tipoff is set for 5:30PM.
