The Lady Pioneer basketball team defeated the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown 110-96. The Pioneers were led by Donita Adams. She connected on 9 of 21shots, and tallied 29 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 assists on the night.
The Pioneers also had four other players score in double figures. Autumn Davis had 24 points, while Kristen Golden had 18 points. Ginny Petties had 13 points and Beth Deren chipped in 12 points to round out the double digit scorers. Miranda Reed had a team high 8 rebounds on the night.
The Pioneers got their high-octane offense back in gear as they scored 110 points on the night. Pitt-Johnstown was led by Andrea Dalton with 34 points. The Pioneers return to action on Monday at home against Davis & Elkins.
