West Virginia Conference cross country coaches have selected Concord’s Ryan Kent and Seton Hill’s Anna Cote as the season’s first WVIAC Runners of the Week.
Kent, a sophomore from Yorktown, VA, finished third at the VMI Invitational with a 5K time of 16:18. The Concord standout was the highest placing non-Division I athlete in the event.
Cote made a splash in her first collegiate event, establishing school, meet, and course records with her performance at the Griffin Classic. The Winchester, VA rookie recorded a time of 19:24.19 to win her school’s home event.
