Tenisha Wilson scored a game high 23 points in the Lady Pioneers loss to Bellarmine University

Louisville, KY – The Lady Pioneers basketball team fell the Bellarmine University in the United Electric Tip-Off Classic Championship game on Saturday night by a score of 93-102.

GSC took a six point lead into halftime but Bellarmine made several second half adjustments as the Lady Pioneers loose their first game of the 2011-12 season.

Tenisha Wilson led the Lady Pioneers with a game high 23 points and four steals. Mishae Miles registered a double double on the night with 21 points and 11 rebounds.

Ginny Petties also had a good game for GSC as she chipped in with 17 points and Kenyell Goodson added 11 points in the game.

Bellarmine had six players score in double figures with Kylie Brady scoring 21 points and grabbing nine rebounds. Therese Montano and Allison Osen both scored 14 points while Darion Hutchinson and Betsy Goodin both scored 12 points.

Also Allison Matheis chipped in with 11 points.

The Lady Pioneers return to action next Tuesday, November 15th when they travel to Vienna, West Virginia to take on Ohio Valley. Tip-off is set for 5:30PM.
