Glenville, WV – The Glenville State College Men’s basketball hosted a kid’s camp on Sunday, January 22nd in the Jesse R. Lilly Gym between 1:00PM and 4:00PM.
Not only was it a fun filled day that taught the kids the fundamentals of basketball but they also got to meet and get autographs from former WVU greats Joe Mazzulla and Rob Summers.
“I think the kids had a great time, not only did they get to learn about basketball from some former great players but also got to have a lot of fun,” stated Head Coach Stephen Dye.
The kids also got to meet and work along with some current GSC basketball players. “I am proud of the way my guys worked with the kids, and believe they had as much fun as the kids did,” said Dye.
The team will be holding another kid’s camp, for boys and girls in the grades of K through eighth, this Sunday, January 29th in the Jesse R. Lilly Gym from 1:00PM to 4:00PM. The registration fee is $25.00 dollars.
