Glenville, WV – A new local restaurant guide for Glenville residents and visitors has been published by Glenville State College. The title of this guide is ‘Dine Local,’ and the idea for the helpful directory of local cuisine was Betsy Barr’s, wife of GSC’s President Dr. Peter Barr. Mrs. Barr said, “We are excited to have a guide for visitors to Gilmer County, and I understand that many locals are happy to have it as well.” Barr feels with all of the upcoming changes to Glenville State College’s campus there will be many guests on site and in the area. Therefore, the guide will make their options well known on where they can get some great quality food and for what price.

May 2009 GSC graduate Marcal Lazenby designed the guide that includes menus for all area restaurants: GSC’s Aramark Dining, China One, Pizza Hut, The Common Place, and many more. “It’s always hard to find out exactly what you want to eat in Glenville, I believe the guide will help provide people with an easier choice,” Lazenby said. The guide also includes hours of operation, locations, and phone numbers.

The guides are available throughout Glenville in restaurants and businesses including the Conrad Motel and Best Western Glenville Inn. You can also pick one up at Glenville State College. For more information, contact Marcal Lazenby at (304) 462-4110.
