On an evening better suited for basketball, the Glenville State College Pioneer football team was able to head north to Notre Dame College and come away with a tough earned victory. The day was better for throwing snowballs than footballs, but three rushing touchdowns provided the Pioneers with the all important 20-16 victory. The Pioneers of Glenville State College welcomed Mountain East Conference foe UVA-Wise to Morris Stadium this past Saturday for the first meeting between the two teams.
