       On December 2 and 3, The Department of Fine Arts and the Chamber Singers put on a Christmas Show called Home for the Holidays, a little musical concert with the Chamber Singers reciting Christmas carols. At Home at the Zoo has Audience Rife with Laughter

On opening night of At Home at the Zoo, all of the cast and crew were excited to put on such an interesting show. The play starts out with Peter, played by Patrick Montgomery, reading a book published by his textbook company. Then his wife Ann, played by Whitney Stalnaker, comes in saying that they need to talk. The rest of act one is them talking things that included Ann thinking about having her breasts cut off to avoid breast cancer and their sex life. [...]

Sculpture Artist`s First Show at GSC

On November 14, the campus was in for something unique for their latest art show. This time they got to look at wood fired sculptures of heads done by sculptor Cherese Weaver. She is from Lookout, West Virginia, and owns her own gallery called Midland Trail Gallery. This was her first solo art show but has some of her pieces at Tamarack Art Gallery in Beckley.
