As the semester slowly winds down to a closing, the Student Activities Committee will be helping host GSC Week. During this week, there will be tons of things for everyone to do. Four years ago, Glenville State College lost two of their finest young athletes due to a tragic automobile accident.  Kyle Puffenberger, a freshman who was a redshirt defensive back on the Pioneer Football team and Brandi Bowen, a sophomore, who ran track and cross-country.  Both Kyle and Brandi were not only standout athletes, but they were also amazing people.   For those of us who had the pleasure of knowing them and the honor of having them as a friend, we will always have wonderful memories [...]

            The Pioneers defeated the Shepherd University Rams on Tuesday night in the first round of tournament play. In the first half, the teams exchanged baskets until the buzzer sounded for halftime with Glenville State up by three, 41-38. The University of Charleston Golden Eagles came out on top in a two point victory against the Glenville State College Men’s Basketball Team. After picking up their 18th straight win of the season on the road against the University of Charleston Golden Eagles this past Monday, the Glenville State Lady Pioneers took home the WVIAC regular-season title. The Lady Pioneers picked up yet another win on Monday when they traveled to take on the Lady Cats of the University of Pitt-Johnstown.
