Correction

Correction

Correction: The Glenville State College Science Fiction and Fantasy Guild did not create Humans vs. Zombies, they are just the ones hosting it on campus.  It was first created at Goucher College in 2005. And Eric W. Jones is not president of the guild; he is in charge of this game of HvZ. Robert Hensley is the club’s president. The incorrect information appeared in the September 18 edition of The Phoenix. We apologize to the Science Fiction and Fantasy Guild.

This is even more hectic for college students who are working on their Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA for short, as these very documents are vital for further education. Students already spend hundreds to even thousands of dollars on school materials [...]

Springtime in West Virginia

Springtime in West Virginia

Lately, if it is not raining, the sun has been shining albeit with some very bone chilling winds, but rest assured, the warm days will soon arrive. With this return of spring weather, I would like to encourage us all to escape from the florescent lit class and dormitory rooms, and see the kind of outdoor adventures available in the [...]
