The Pioneer Football team finally got that win on Saturday, October 11 at their homecoming game against the University of Charleston. Pioneer Football Loses at Wesleyan

  The Pioneers played West Virginia Wesleyan at Wesleyan on October 4 and suffered a loss. The Pioneers fought hard but the final score was 35-38. The Pioneers scored the first seven points to start of the game off giving them the lead unfortunately the Pioneers lost the lead when the Bobcats scored a touchdown towards the end of the first half, making the score 24-20. The Pioneer football team claimed their first win of the 2014 season against Urbana with a score of 31-28. In the first half, Urbana was the first one to put a score on the board with a one yard run making the starting score 0-7. Glenville State’s volleyball team lost on the road against the University of Charleston, West Virginia State University and Seton Hill. Glenville State College football played against Fairmont State University on Saturday 20 in the annual battle of the bit. The Falcons started off the game with the first touch-down making the starting score 24-0. Glenville State Pioneer football team lost to the Hilltoppers at their first home game on Saturday afternoon in double overtime, 27-24. The Pioneers started off the game with Ralph Gordon scoring the first touchdown making the starting score 7-0. But West Liberty came back with a one yard touchdown, tying the score. Glenville State College played against the Mountain Lions last Saturday,  September 6. The Pioneers fought, yet lost with an ending score of 54-27. During the first quarter, Concord scored a total of 16 points, leading until the second quarter where Glenville State’s Rahmann Lee scored a total of six points.
