Coach Hutchinson has Team Working Overtime

  Head Football Coach Dave Hutchison reports that the team is working hard and everyone is excited for the first games. He sees improvement in the team and reports that they are currently participating in high-intensity, two-hour workouts. There are nine returning offensive  starters led by All-American running back Ramon Lee.There are six returning defensive starters, led by Gary Henderson. Glenville State College named Katie Avery as the new volleyball head coach, replacing Camai Roberson. Avery is from Teays Valley, West Virginia and is looking forward to the upcoming season. The Department of Land Resources is hosting its 16th annual golf tournament at Bel Meadow Country Club in Clarksburg on May 2. The tournament begins Friday, May 2 at 12:00 p.m. Come on out and bring a few friends. The Pioneer Shooting Club attended it’s very first competition last weekend at Peacemaker National Training Center near Martinsburg, West Virginia. Peacemaker is the largest shooting sports complex on the east coast. Eight students attended and four participated in the competition. Dr. Grieco competed as well. The students were using stock service pistols for the event. They were required to shoot in several different scenarios that mimicked true-to-life situations.
