Public Safety Bans Pellet & Airsoft Guns on Campus

Glenville State College Public Safety issued a new ban on Monday, April 1 that is to take immediate effect. Due to a recent influx of responses to reports of guns on campus that turned out to be non-lethal guns–arisoft and pellet guns–campus security has moved to place a restriction on these items to prevent a serious or fatal accident as these guns can be mistaken for lethal weapons. GSC’s Accounting 399 class is offering assistance to anyone who qualifies for the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) “Free File” program. The IRS-certified volunteers will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-5 p.m. in room 309B in the Heflin administration building through April 15. Approaching Graduation: Cap & Gown Orders

The Glenville State College Bookstore announced this past Monday that they are taking orders for cap and gowns. Seniors graduating in May are encouraged to stop by the Bookstore as soon as possible to order their outfit for the commencement ceremony.
