A free “Wear Red Day” luncheon is being held for students, employees, and local residents on Tuesday, February 25 at 12 p.m. in the Mollohan Campus Community Center Ballroom. The event is one of many being held in our state and around the nation to increase awareness about heart disease, which is the number one killer of women in America. College Goal Sunday!

College is expensive, but worth the investment! One way to pay for tuition is to apply for financial aid. In order to seek financial aid assistance students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) by March 1, 2014 for best consideration of funds. Farm Opportunity Days Come to GSC

A collaboration between Glenville State College, the West Virginia Business Development Center, the West Virginia University Extension Service, and the West Virginia University Extension Service Small Farm Center is bringing opportunity to the Gilmer County community. Five Glenville State College Army ROTC students were part of the Yellow Jacket Battalion’s twelve-man Ranger Challenge Team, which placed 3rd of 19 teams. The Ranger Challenge is a varsity sport in Army ROTC, and the competitors earn a Ranger Challenge Tab and a service ribbon after completing the challenge.
