Emilio Fernández Alvarez , Honnie Amor Wagner , and Art Zoller Wagner works  have inspired the up and coming art show, “ Three Generations of Asturian – American Painters”.  Opening Reception for the art show will be held on January 26 from 5 – 7 pm at the Fine Arts Center Gallery. Solve the Crime at “Mandate for Murder”

The Glenville State College theater group is performing a play to raise money for Alpha Psi Omega. “Mandate for Murder” was written by Pat Cook in 1993 but is being directed by student Luna Acree in a partnership with Professor Wemm. GSC Holds Campus Picnic and Game Show

  On Thursday, October 9 GSC and the Campus Dining Service Aramark hosted the twice annual campus picnic in conjunction with Homecoming. It was held in the Luanna T. Smith Amphitheatre and while we enjoyed our food, Sandy Sowell from Culloden, WV brought her annual game show to the campus. Both of these events drew a large crowd and were enjoyed by all. Theatre Mask Glenville State College is presenting Rumors, a play by Neil Simon on Thursday and Friday nights this week in the President’s Auditorium. The play is about four couples who discover their best friend has somehow shot himself in the ear. Assistant Professor of English, Dr. Sallie Anglin, has betun the Shakespeare Literature and Reading Series. Arlene “Arlinka” Worl is bringing her amazing paintings of the outdoors in to the gallery. Arlinka is from Detroit, Michigan and lived has been living in West Virginia since 1976. She has been painting ever since she was a child. Arlinka started her career as an artist when she had her own exhibit at age seven at the Verve Art Gallery in Detroit.
