Arlene “Arlinka” Worl is bringing her amazing paintings of the outdoors in to the gallery. Arlinka is from Detroit, Michigan and lived has been living in West Virginia since 1976. She has been painting ever since she was a child. Arlinka started her career as an artist when she had her own exhibit at age seven at the Verve Art Gallery in Detroit. Well Known Davisson Brothers Band plays at New Waco Center

Saturday, August 30 at 8:30 p.m., the Davisson Brothers Band will be playing live at the Waco Center with retired Mountaineer football legend Owen Schmitt. The Davisson Brothers Band consists of four members: the two brothers, Donnie Davisson the lead vocalist and rhythm guitar, and Chris Davisson who plays lead guitar. Their cousin Sammy Davisson  does vocals and plays bass guitar, and finally long-time best friend Aaron Regester, who plays the drums. Glenville State College’s Science Fiction and Fantasy Guild will have sign-up sheets for the upcoming Humans vs. Zombies game on April 7-11 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Rusty Musket for all who are interested in participating in the game. The rules of Humans vs. Zombies are as followed: Players are given brightly colored bandanas to wear on their heads or their arms, representing either “Human” or “Zombie”. Thundering Drums

For the thirty-fourth consecutive year, a percussion ensemble comprised of members of the GSC band will perform. The concert will be held at the Fine Arts Building April 3 and 4 at 7 p.m. According to Fine Arts Department Chair Lloyd Bone, the percussion ensemble performance is one of the most popular events in the Glenville State College musical year.
